On days when her husband can’t drop her off at the downtown Riverside Metrolink station, Corrine Welsh boards a bus for the trip down Magnolia Avenue from her house near Riverside Plaza.
It’s just the beginning of a long day of hopping from bus to train to bus, all with different schedules and monthly passes and rules.
By the time she gets to her office manager job in Industry, she has ridden as many as three buses and a train, using two different passes.
“You get used to it,” said Welsh, 47, who boarded a 6:51 a.m. train so she could get to her office by 9:30 a.m.
